Anxiety Inducers

GERMS. Poor kids have to wash their hands all the time. It adds up when they come to and from the park all day and wash after each trip. They wash after coming home from the store, church, (if I don't get the hand sanitizer to them first, which I usually do) and school. During winter, they often don't dry their hands well after washing, as you see Isabelle's poor dry hand above.

The doorbell! I hate not knowing when someone is coming by and I'm not ready for it! Especially solicitors...btw, I really want a new door. This allows for not enough privacy. (and it's sideways in the pic)

Mess! I need to have my house clean or my head goes crazy. (this picture was not fabricated, sadly)

Okay, I just revealed a few of my anxieties. Will you tell me some of yours?

how come your daughter's dirty room looks so much cleaner than MY daughter's dirty room???

clutter does cause me anxiety - it's just that I'm learning to live with that level of anxiety... the only problem now is that it takes so little to put me over the edge!

I'm ready to throw so much away! I know how you feel. That hairstyle is cool.

I went through the same thing with my first door. No privacy! It drove me crazy.

what's up w/ all the sideways pictures? My anxieties are when people assume I have anxieties. Why should I have anxieties just because everybody else does? What's wrong with being anxiety-less???

My anxieties could not be covered in such a small space. In addition to all of yours add: locking all the doors and windows at night, avoiding people with stomach flu, running out of TP (our linen closet is packed), oh yeah, and this one..."Did I remember to put on deodorant today?!!"

Megan- don't be afraid to share. It's not a weakness.
Laura- sounds like we are entirely in the same fear club! Totally with you there on stomach flu and locked doors/windows!

Does anyone else ever booby-trap the windows so you can have peace of mind as well as a little fresh air on summer nights?

Di? Tell me about this booby-trap!
