Strange things husband brings

Does anyone else's husband bring totally random things home from work? This is the first thing:
It's a cool nightlight. A friend of Russell's gave him a night light! This is the coolest night light though. There are varying intensities to choose from, along with different colors. For example, if you want a little light, choose red. More light? Blue's the hue. Of course like with anything else, the girls enjoy fighting over which color they choose that night. It is a cool thing. But random.

Second thing: these jelly bellies. These are not your everyday jelly bellies! They are malformed. Russell got a huge can of these toss-outs/rejects from someone at work. Look closely: there are
siamese jelly beans in there. Many. Who knew how much men
like to share their odd treats?

Third thing: Vidalia Onion Salad Dressing. Okay, Russell didn't
actually bring this home from work but does anyone else out there
love to try the new salad dressing flavors? This is a great
marinade and it's good on sandwiches too.

Mmm...sweet and spicy is always
good. These are excellent chips! I'm
not even a chip person.

Okay, I'm sorry I only came up
with two odd things my husband brings home from work. There is a lot more but this is what I had today.

Do your husbands bring cool things?

That salad dressing probably makes your breath smell fantastic! But as far as bringing stuff home...it was awesome at Christmas because we got lots of gourmet treats that way because Leon is never embarrassed to volunteer to take things home. But he goes to lots of business fairs and brings home neat pens and balls and frisbees and other logo-ed items the kids like for about a week then I have to sneakily throw away.

just be glad your hubby doesn't work with the people that Q does... we have been gifted with many many many pecans (anybody want some), pomegranates, cat-hair cookies (old ladies don't notice when fluffy is helping stir the batter I guess), as well as the occasional piece of no longer necessary medical equipment - our garage is a repository of extra bedside commodes and walkers...

My husband often bring home cooler than usual things. Sometimes they are t-shirts or jackets or bags or pens or watches. Occasionally there are less useful items like paper weights or fancy notebooks with brightly colored logos. I've gotten great cookware and baskets of fruits and such. In general, he brings home great "presents". He has had friends who gave him things at work like the "learn Klingon" tape bought from D.I. That was useful (not)but amusing. I believe it is back at D.I.

My favorite was the Prozac calendar showing happy functional people on every month. There also have been the occasional pens, notepads and mugs advertising anti-psychotic meds.

Erin, deformed jelly bellies are called Belly Flops and they are a valid item at the Jelly Belly factory in Northern California. They have a sku and everything.

Since Matt is a photographer, he virtually brings things home through pictures--one of a moose, an entire folder of plumber butts, funny logos on trucks, and Robert Redford.
