Why it's great to put stuff you want on your blog...

If you've got a husband like mine who is always looking for gift ideas, then just put a picture of that diamond bracelet or gardening shoes or special book right there on your blog. See my Mother's Day present? There it is, whipping up my cookies! For all of you interested in how I like my mixer, I must say I'm impressed with it's relationship with cream cheese and frostings in particular. The cookies taste as great as ever and I could even make a batch holding Sam with one arm! You do have to buy one of those cookie scoops so you don't have to use two hands to drop the dough. Amazing. I guess I'm a Real Chef now.

hmmm... I'm going to have to figure out which Must-haves to start mentioning in the blog... and then I'll figure out how to get dear hubby to read the thing!

Congrats---what a great gift. Your DH does his research in the right place. You can't beat cooking with one hand.
I'll have to post a wishlist on the blog sometime--subtle yet overt.

All you do is make cookies so that gift is probably a good investment. But I will win all family arm wrestling contests hands down now. And I am pretty sure by posting a picture of a diamond bracelet on my blog that will not make Hub buy it.

Megz, I think I could beat you in arm wrestling. Let's have a sisterz bake-off/muscle competition for the next get together.
Anyway, I just wanted to show my new profile photo. The other one made me look fat.

Nice Mixer! Had you told him what color you wanted too? I bet my kids wish I made cookies more often but if I make them, I eat them and get all of the side effects of sugar. Der looks at my blog once in a blue moon I think and if he knows I want something it somehow makes it less fun for him to buy. He wants to figure it out himself. That means, anything I tell him I want I'm destined not to get without purchasing it myself.

What can I say? I appreciate a good easy target for gifts. And yes, I appreciate a good cookie.
