Beautiful Cuisine Take 1

BBQ Pizza Chicken. Many people probably know this, but in order to have a crispy (instead of soft and/or doughy) crust, you need to cook the crust at a high temperature, say 415. We have enjoyed our pizza a lot better this way. Anyway, we have some red onion, tomato, chicken and ranch/bbq sauce.

Good times were had at the library event. Check your local city listings so you can watch it on the telly! How exciting is that! These guys are excited about being tv stars. The library was brave and even broke the no food rule and served ice cream parfaits for a treat!

What Mesmerizes Babies

We have a pack and play we have used as a changing table for all four of our kids. As each newborn has been introduced to the wonderful world of diaper changing, they quickly become fixated on the warning sign sticker located on the left side of the changing table. No fail. It makes diaper changing time quite pleasant, and as a bonus I get 10 extra minutes to run around and get things cleaned up while they lie there hypnotized. We know babies don't see much at a few weeks old- but they can see contrasts. And the black and white little words on the warning sign seem to be right up the developmental alley of cute little babies. Who would have thought? Thanks Graco!

Countdown too soon?

I don't know if I should even be thinking about it yet. I have enjoyed the snowy days these past couple of months but there are some good things Spring has to offer:

• The option of outside play
• New life growing
• Easter
• Warmth of pastels
  
• April showers
• Tulips
• Being able to have windows open
• No more coats!
• Spring clothes
• 60 degree temps
• Cadbury mini-eggs

Russell has a hard time with the little curve
the letters take. But I honestly don't notice. It's
the non-perfectionist in me, I guess. I always was
perfectly content with a B. Still good, but not perfect.
