Olivia plays so hard she doesn't have
time to take a nap. Thus many requests for treats later (tiredness feels like hunger to toddlers), and a lock-hold with Mom on the soft rug for 5 minutes, and she's out at 4 pm.
She loves chapstick so much
she doesn't limit it only to her lips.
Makes for a nice sun-kissed look.
She is a fun girl who knows how
to express herself with her face.
That's all for now!

Why I love my 2 1/2 year old...

2 1/2 year olds are the best. And worst. Today in sacrament meeting, William kept loudly asking questions such as, "Where's Jesus? Is he here?" or, "Did those babies just get the Holy Ghost?" and now he's having his having his Sunday no-nap going-to-bed-late-cause-I-was-too-hyper meltdown. . .
I love it Diana. I'd encourage those spiritually-minded thoughts! Who doesn't need a smile during church? What a good boy.
Erin, love the pictures. And Diana, I couldn't stop laughing!
Livvers is going to have super smooth skin with that daily chapstick treatment. Maybe you should invest in some of the clear kind though. Nice pic of Is and Sam. And isn't it nice when Di actually comments?
At least William wasn't talking about your nose hairs like Maryn was... of course it was her Dad's nose hairs she was loudly remarking on during the sacrament prayer. When he told her she shouldn't be looking there she decided that her stuffed pet kitty could look because his eyes didn't need to be closed (he doesn't take the sacrament after all)
I love the pic of Isabelle and Samuel - happy kids!
Erin, I should try the lock hold on Dan right now and see if I get some quiet time out of it. Likely I'd get kicked until I couldn't take it anymore. He's actually pleasant. Di, it's great that William's questions are related to church. Mine like to ask questions about the building "why are those lights like that up there?" or "Why is around the door green? or something. Other times it's about how much longer this might last and if I really have to go to primary this week and if we are going to grandma's. I prefer the questions I get to the one Quinn got though!
Sweet Livia... and wow, does she love her Mommy (especially when she's holding baby Sam). "No, dad. I want Mommy."
Well, then!
